Bulk Water Supply Schemes
Problem
The 8 inch pipe line laid in 2017 is insufficient to draw available water through the 3 new 60 HP pumps. The 12 inch previous water line draws 120,000 Gallon water in 1 hour whereas 8 inch line draws 120,000 gallon water in 2 hours. Water from main line coming from Hub Dam is available 18 to 24 hours every 10 days. Since 8 inch line takes more time to draw water, a lot of available water is wasted.
Solution
Realignment of Pumping Station Header Laying of another 18 inches (Same as header dia) pipe straight outside the pumping station. Reducing pipe to 12 inches dia, making a 45 degree turn with Elbow and extending pipe for 20 ft.. Replacing 8 inch Pipe with 12 Inch pipe for 1300 feet Laying of another 12 inches dia pipe for another 1300 ft. Connecting the new 12 inches dia pipe to existing 8 inches dia pipe after 1300 ft.
